Shocking they picked up a body from the team they're about to Play. I never understood what's behind that. If your coaches can't figure out what they're trying to do by watching tape then I'm not sure you should be an NFL coach. Not like he has insight into their game plan this week.

There might be more to this than just hoping to get insight.

A former 5th round pick that played in 18 games over two seasons still on his rookie contract.

He plays special teams primarily so in reviewing film they saw something they liked about him?

Saw a lot of him at FSU. He’s a heart and hustle guy. He’s only decent as an athlete but he plays aggressively and is a ballhawk. He has a terrific motor. He’s not fast and isn’t a great leaper, but if you make a reception when he’s covering you; you pay for it. Receivers going over the middle were often distracted thinking he was coming. I’m reasonably sure he led the team in tackles. He’s most effective playing downhill. He’s best playing zone or double covering receivers. He’s the type of player who brings attitude to a team. He’ll never be an NFL starter. He will be an asset on special teams.
