The 28-10/31-13 type predictions seem about right on paper.

Even without Jackson, the Eagles seem to have a lot of speed/fire power for our defense, and Skelton still has a lot to prove after last week. That being said, a lot of people didn't think we were going to be competitive against the Giants, Steelers, or Ravens and we should have won 2 of those 3 and were within a FG in the second half of the third game. So, I'll be rooting them on hard from my couch!!

Actually a lot of people thought we were going to win the Giants game and then, after losing to the Giants, the Steelers game. Not because we were any good but because those were the kind of games bad Cardinal teams usually win.

Most people did think the Ravens game was going to be a rout. But they were only half right.

35 - 10. Cards put it all together and win big mostly because of several big plays on defense. Vick leaves the game early in the second quarter.

Cards win big in dominating fashion, 31-10. Beanie plays like he's made of glass, Skelton carries the load, throws 4 TD's.

The narrative next week will be Skelton over Kolb and how bad our coaches suck (even after a 31-10 dismantling).

I went back and looked at the Giants/Steelers prediction thread -- there was more hope for the Giants game, but still around 60% of the picks were for the Giants. About 80% of the picks were for the Steelers, and most weren't close (and a late run of Cards picks is the only reason it was 80%).

There were definitely people who took the whole "they are way more talented than us, but this is the type of game we win" stance with the Giants/Steelers, but they weren't the majority.

The Eagles are 3-5 (1 game better than us), tied for last in their division yet are favored by almost 2 TDs to beat us. That is how low we are ranked.
Lets just hope we score 14pts and I'm happy.

You've got to be kidding, you're almost as blind as I am.:)

I was dead wrong on this. Cards are undefeated this year when I don't contribute to the game day thread, I'm going to keep it going!
