He put up 18 TDs and 3 INT last season. Had 470 yards rushing, a 60% completion percentage and a 90.7 passer rating.

Yeah... that's not NFL caliber.

That at least an NFL back up.
Stop bringing facts onto arguments.

Yes, he's getting blackballed.... Let's all wait and see what Billionaire owner wants to slash his own throat, and give Kap a look.

The fans have spoken, and they don't want politics hammer-fisted into their escape from reality.

No one knows how good or bad kap really is. He played at a high level at times despite being on one of the most dysfunctional teams in the league. It would not surprise me if he could play at a franchise level but I certainly wouldn't bet the house on it. Fortunately we wouldn't have to and could easily sign him for a fraction of what DS is getting.

What I am sure of is that he is probably the best player you could sign off the street and should be an upgrade over DS and BG with a potential of a large upside.

Strictly from a transactional standpoint we would be insane to not sign him. Unfortunately the org is probably factoring in blowback from high profile people who are not cardinals fans so I'm doubtful it will happen.

On the flipside AP was a pariah for what most would argue are much more serious reasons and we signed him so who knows.

Exactly... the guy who bloodied his kid is praised as a messiah and has the ONLY banner in the stadium raised for him... but Kaep kneels to try and raise awareness for police brutality and he should never play in the league again.

We traded forAP and he gave us one game bump. Maybe Kapernick could produce a similar result. Heck, sign a guy thought to be washed up each week from here on out.

I'm completely on board for signing CK.... Just to watch him get his ass kicked behind this terrible offensive line.

He won't stay behind this terrible offensive line... he'll run like hell (as Gabbert should if he gets a chance to play) and try to make something happen... one thing he isn't, is stupid, and he is not going to just stand there and get killed in the BA system, where all we need is the absolute, BEST O-line to ever play football, so BA's offensive genius can shine through ....

Given reality is about to hammer-fist their escape (not necessarily football, just in general), they should maybe consider the whole thing.

That is 100% debatable.

He flipped the bird to his ex-employer, and every one of his potential (NFL) employers.
That's almost Tanya Harding level stupid IMHO.

You ever walk in and quit a job because the middle management was STUPID and upper management didn't seem to care ?
You ever walk in and tell that upper management (even though you only have the job you've got because your old man knows him, the upper manager) that it is completely inconceivable that they should have laid off that other guy because they have you to do his job, even though the other guy has worked there for years, is married and has kids (and this happened Xmas eve) and that other guy does the job better and more concientiously than you ? AND the only reason stupid middle manager brought up they should lay other guy off is because stupid middle manager is a small minded, petty azzhole who took a dislike to that guy for no apparent (or justifiable reason) ... and you just quit right there... even though you have no other job at the time ? yes I did

No, I imagine you have never done that because I doubt principles mean ANYTHING to you at all.

As a matter of fact, if KAP (who I hated by the way, because he was a 9er) is not in the NFL next season, then I will be out (I won't miss much with this clown organization) ... and I plan on writing each and every team and the NFL and tell them that

they aren't just going to lose flag waving, mouth breathing, knuckle dragging pseudo patriots..
I'll join that draft dodging, orange haired, lying coward on the sidelines (actually not, because I won't be there)

I've quit a few jobs on principal, The last time I worked for someone else, I had a pretty iron-clad non-compete.
I didn't crap the bed on my out of that one.

The main reason I don't think Kaep is even a consideration is because BA would have to change (dummy down) his offense during the learning curve. Unless BA has told Kiem that he is retiring after this year, BA wouldn't think that Keap could run his offense. IMO

This could only be true if they’re grasping at straws. The idea he could take this team anywhere is silly unless he’s going to play defense too. Politics aside this is a flawed team no one player could save.

Harry, old thread from before the season started, and in it's first post stated "fake news".

If you're talking about declining ratings: I think the fans are way more pissed that 7 teams failed to score an offensive TD yesterday. The quality of play, especially early in the season, is hurting ratings and fans more than anything else, IMO.
