Reich is clearly a better HC than Wilks. It's not even close.
Maybe...Wilks took went 6-6 with a depleted roster that traded their best player...Matt Rhule never won more than 5 games with a full season. You can argue that Reich had a better roster in Indy this year than Wilks had in Carolina, yet Reich did less. The players in Carolina were so happy with Wilks, because he gave them a plan and direction and they all came out in support of him staying after the season...Even Sam Darnold, who's future is in doubt, supported Wilks staying. Wilks was a dumpster fire in AZ. He wasn't prepared and Keim gave him garbage to work with, but he coached has ass off in Carolina this year.

Depleted? That Carolina roster is actually pretty good.

Hell, it’s way better than ours.

But obviously, they’re missing the most important position.

I guess that says more about Matt Rhule, then.
No doubt Wilks was dealt a bad hand in 2018. He was not prepared, although probably more prepared than Kliff. What he did in Carolina is still impressive regardless. He also has had more time to grow.

Hahaha...I just think it's interesting reading posts and tweets crapping on Payton for only having 1 SB, but would run through wall on fire to hire Andy Reid or Tomlin, who have similar championship resumes.
Yeah. And deserved at least 1 more SB run if not for a ridiculous non call. He wins that SB too.

No doubt Wilks was better than Rhule but he's miles from Reich. I don't think any serious NFL analyst would suggest Wilks is a better option.
