Again, there is a reason why this guy was avaliable! I am done being optimistic before the season starts. Show me results first.

Yeah, it is called his contract running up and his head coach being fired. Pretty normal in the NFL.

I think I would have preferred Tony Wise (despite never having seen him coach), but this is a HUGE upgrade from Lindsey. Our line got better.

Glad to see Denny go after him and pull the trigger fast. Note that he is not a Denny guy as Tice hired him when he took over as the head coach of the Vikings. I'm sure that Tice recommended him to Denny. This is an excellent hire!

Not all on this board agree, but at least I feel we have a chance to get better. I never really felt that with Coach Mac/Tobin it would ever happen. With Green in charge I have hope that we can eventually really build a team that will compete.

We all make mistakes and it seems as though Green will take steps to correct his mistakes whether or not his demeanor is one of humility.

Heres hoping these new coaching hires will help the team get better.

Not that that means it wasn't lame.

The bar was pretty low. Still is.

I found this on Vikings board

May not seem like much, but it is nice to hear that we opened the welcome mat and got it done quick

All I know about him is what I just read. He is clearly experienced. DG must like him. I like what I read about him so bring him on.
