The agent for Arizona Cardinals CB Patrick Peterson, Pat Lawlor, said "they will be the last man standing" in regards to contract talks with the team.

There is no negotiation. The contracts are slotted. A.J. Green got 19.6 million over 4 years. Peterson will get slightly less than that. He will get 18.5-19.

That is only slighgtly more than what he got at LSU.

Cardinals fans can breathe easy. Although the talks are late in getting going, there shouldn't be many stumbling blocks. Reliable beat writer Kent Somers wouldn't be surprised if an agreement is reached today.
