I think Wilks will be fired and I think Kiem will be reassigned to a different position but allowed to explore his other options.

I think he would ask for his release and if he was demoted. That would be completely embarrassing to stay on after being relieved of your duties.

You're right

He wouldn't be pounding the pavement for long.

If I was Bidwill, I'd make sure that the decision on Keim is made before any serious draft preparation.

You don't want him walking out with that information.

Then that's on you. BA's last two years we were destroyed by injuries that don't got a damn thing to do with the front office that's just bad luck.
I'm tired of this excuse. The Eagles have been destroyed by injuries this season and they're still in the playoff hunt. Hell, they lost Wentz, again, and beat the freaking Rams in L.A. We can't even cross the 50 on them with a healthy team. That is on coaching and management. Who's fault is it this team has no depth? Who's fault is it this team hasn't had an offensive line in forever?

We're on track to be the fifth-worst offense in the NFL since 1986.

Our offense is only slightly better than the offense of the expansion Houston Texans.
The 1977 Tampa Bay Buccaneers, a team we lost to BTW, was shut out 6 times, scored only 7 points twice and only 3 points twice. That means in a 14 game season they had 10 games where they scored a combined 20 points. They scored 10 or more points 4 times. They averaged, for the season, 7 points per game. Hard to top that level of futility. That said, 2 seasons later they were 9 points from the Super Bowl.

So fear of potentially doing worse should prevent you from striving to do better?

I can't see how you can be in favor of firing the coach after 1 year yet not the guy responsible for his hiring whose had several years on the job and has seen the talent level on the team plummet to where it is now at. In addition to the off field embarrassment.

Fire both now or keep them and be in the same spot next year for a reset, but don't let a lame duck GM who just botched the last coaching hire lead another.
Aaaaaaaaaamen!

Money. Bidwill won't want to eat more money than he has to if he cans Wilks. That is one reason Keim would be kept. Kitchens could put Leftwich back as QBC. But I imagine Kitchens will want to call plays if he was a HC.
I agree with you.

MB might try to keep some of the existing staff to save on salaries.

Which IMO is the wrong way to go and shows how $ is more important than winning.
