Hilarious that the author believes that we're going to (or should) acquire a slot receiver in free agency. That preview may have been written a year ago.

Couldn't agree more with this. But outside of that fact this is a pretty good write up

That was a pretty good summary of the Cardinals' situation. But even more interesting to me was the link from within that article to a National Football Post analysis that showed the Cardinals as #1 on the list of best drafting teams in the last 10 years, and #3 in the last 5 years!

We've known that for quite some time. The problem has been keeping the guys they drafted. The article lists 4 players lost to FA or trades and that doesn't include Rolle (107/116) or Lutui (80/101) or DRC (54/77)

Of course whiffing on Matt Leinart cancels out almost everything else and drops the Cards to, oh, 27th. :)
