I don't see top 15 prospects
The best of the list are trade down options

Good grief we better not draft Schwartz. He is fast.. thats it. He should stick to track. Seth Williams is the only worthwhile wr coming out of Auburn this year.

Worrying about Mel Kipers grade is the silliest thing fans do.

Mel Kiper is a freakin genius, man! Just look at that forehead. The guy's gotta have one big brain in there. If GMs listened more to what he has to say, a lot less of them would get fired. I see him as the Einstein of this NFL era. E=MC2 .... never forget it.

Draft a good player. Don't worry about "value".
Also, I think that’s a terrible strategy. They way you stack talent is take players just before they would be drafted by other teams. There’s obviously guesswork involved with that. But if you take a dude that’s projected in the fourth in the first bc you like him you missed out on taking other talented player in either the first or second. There’s more strategy to drafting than “take the guy you like.”

I like him. But at 16?

Is he somebody they couldn’t be there for the second round pick or we just assuming that he’s a first round option they don’t only visit with possible first rounders right? And I’m legitimately asking because I don’t know where he should be ranked

He’s largely considered a late first/early second straddle.

BPA boards vary from team to team

Team needs boards also vary

How teams project how other teams stack their boards also vary.

Best thing a team can do is (a) rank BPA's, (b) tweak those ratings according to position needs and fit and (c) pick the highest available dude on that list.

Hottest topic for most War Room debate is where talent collides with need.

In addition to these, I would think what type of offense and defense a team plays would factor into their selections and how well that player fits into what they try to do on each side of the ball. Does player A skillset work better than player B skillset for us and how well do we think a player can be developed to further add to an offense or defense.
