4) Arizona Cardinals

OLB John Abraham, concussions, IR
DE Darnell Dockett, knee, IR

This is why Todd Bowles is the frontrunner for Defensive Coordinator of the Year (too bad that award doesn’t exist). Abraham was the team’s only viable edge-rusher up front, while Dockett’s violent hands and tenacity made him ideal in Arizona’s hybrid 3-4 system. The Cardinals have survived both losses because their secondary can play tight man-to-man across the board, allowing Bowles to still use his myriad blitz packages.

It’s possible that Carson Palmer will also soon be added to this list.

No surprise about the #1 team. I can't remember the last time that a team lost its #1, #2 and #3 RBs before even week 5. And that's on top of many, many other significant injuries to other positions.

Cards were hit hard by injuries/suspensions before the season even began.

They didn't mention Campbell, Zastudil,Shaughnessy. Washington and Dwyer are mentally injured but guess that didn't count.

Losing RB's isn't even close to losing starting DT's or LB's. Not to mention our QB's. Laughable.

And they only mention 2 of our losses. Again laughable. Lol.

i can't believe any team worth a lick has dealt with as many injuries as we have.

starting QB out 3 games, starting DE out for season, starting LB out for season, another starting LBer out for the season, other DE out with MCL... not to mention the suspensions.

seriously, facing the Niners/Broncos/Chargers in our first 5 games and coming out with a 4-1 record with everything we've endured is pretty incredible at this point.

Chargers have lost starting ILB (Te'o) and starting OLB (Ingram) also. Law and Attoachu have lost missed ton of games. We have also lost #1, #2 and #3 centers. Lost #1 guard. Lost #1 CB too.

Its not just the RBs that the Chargers have lost. Agreed on playing without #1 QB is tough.

I saw the Jets have lost their top 3 corners for the year.

With all we have went through I have had zero expectations, and we just keep finding a way to win. It's incredible.
