HE left for more money and a chance to win in SF when he became a FA. Who can blame him?

I think he was one of the first Cardinals to leave via the current free agency system. The NFL converted to the current FA system in 1993 the year Tim left. Prior to that they had that Plan B free agency where teams could only protect 37 players. I believe that is how they lost Jay Novacek. To plan B free agency.

Anyone remember how the Cards lost Steve Beuerlein? That's right. Left him unprotected in the NFL expansion draft where he was taken as the first selection of the new Jacksonville Jaguars.

I'm one to say Kurt doesn't belong. a few great years isn't a career player. It's even worse than the Suns putting Barkley up in the Suns house.

I'm one to say it takes 9 years before you get a chance to end up on the ring of honor.

If you let Kurt up....Are we going to put every player with a few good years up.

Dansby, Dockett, Boldin, Fitz, Larry Centers....? There are a lot of players that are good...greatness for the Ring takes a career.

I believe it's a career (with the Cardinals) that makes the Ring...not a few good years.

Lastly - when the players name is mentioned a persons thoughts should go instantly to the team associated. In Kurts case it's still ST. L....and he's even stated in the Hall of Fame that St. L will be the jersey choice.

Boldin played for us for 7 years, was Rookie of the year and broke every record in the books in a franchise that's over 100 years old. That's not a "few good years". If Boldin (and eventually Fitz) aren't getting in I'm not sure who ever will. I dont like how things ended with him anymore than the next fan, but when his career is done I still want him in our ROH.
