Let's put that tackles- missed stat into English:The optimistic side of me says if he missed 1 tackle every 5.7 and still had 117 tackles, it means he's around the ball alot and making plays...
If he missed one tackle in every 5.7 attempts (17.5% of the time) it means he made the tackle 82.5% of the time. I don't see this as a problem.
And BTW, we still haven't seen the same stat for DWash, Paris Lenon, the average stat for MLB's, the average stat for ILB's, the best stat among ILB's or the worst stat.
The problem with looking at stats out of context is that there's a difference, say, between a bottom-ranking player who's at the tail-end of a tightly clustered group stat-wise, and one who's at the tail-end of (way below) a widely dispersed group
As for Bradley, it's fair to criticize him for not being able to dislodge Lenon or for costing too much, but I can't recall any times during a game where he looked bad enough to grab my attention and cause me to pull my lips off.
PS - NFL.com credits Brinkley with 99 tackles in 2012, 10 tackles. in 2011 (injured?) and 30 tackles in 2010, his rookie year.
