I like the signing . He is not the Mesiah , however, if you need 2 yards he will get you 2 yards. If you need 4 yards he will get you 2 yards.

Watched him with the Bears . The guy is a load. The big question is he healthy and in any kind of shape.

He isn't going to be asked to carry the ball 15 times. This move isn't for this Sunday. I think it's for a little bit down the road.

For all you naysayers, how in the world can you question any moves by Bask? If they didn't think he could contribute they wouldn't have signed him. That being said I have all the confidence in the world with Bask and if they find he is not who they think he is his ass will be gone by next week.

BA says Bush is in "great" shape. However, I guess the new CBA says that teams can only be in pads 3 more times the rest of the season, so, they're concerned because this week they will not be in pads at all. Hopefully, somehow they can work him into the offense even though he will not have practiced in pads...

There's only one way around that...

At least Kiem is doing something. We need a big inside runner and he went out and got one. Kiem can't run the ball for him to. At least we have a GM that is proactive.

Not sure what all the complaints are about. Bush fills a big need on this team. Your not going to find probowl players at this point in the season. Bush was a good player in Oakland. I think this is a solid signing considering how late in the season we are. This is a playoff signing.

I agree and I think it is wise that they are going to take a little time to assimilate him into the offense.

Michael Bush: I didn’t get a “fair shake” in Chicago

Bush said he thinks that the limited usage hurt his efforts to get another job after parting ways with the Bears, although he may be underrating the impact that his mediocre first season in Chicago and being 30 had on team’s minds. Bush is fresh at a time in the season when that’s a rarity, however, and that should help him prove that the Bears and the rest of the league overlooked a player who still has something to offer.

I think its interesting that the Cardinals put in a waiver claim for Ben Tate. So Bush wasn't the first option.

Guessing they asked Palmer and Valdeer about him. He at least knows the blocking tenancies of his left tackle.

Wow one thing that really stood out in that video was Mike Bush does not run out of bounds, he'll ride his angle as long as he can to get the maximum yardage, but 9 times out of 10 he's going to try and cut it back in. I think I even saw him pull the swim moves a couple times... while carrying the ball.. but we will get into that later I bet. :D Another this is he looks like a goalline junkie, he knows right where it is and fights to get to it. What I really like is he doesn't cough up the rock, we are all about winning the turnover battle.

Even when one is not getting the yards one wish, a running game should still fatigue the defense. Other than chasing Ellington around in the open field, he is not winding the defense because our running blocking has not been good enough this year for him to find those cutbacks and burst free for yardage on the second level. A defense tackling a little back does not put pressure or put a strain on them if the back is going down after two yards. Taylor, or especially a back like Bush, will make the defense feel the effort if they have been used consistently throughout a game. The key aspect is that Arians needs to use them, with more of Ellington being the change of pace back with a QB like Stanton in my opinion

I bet you have. :)

Ha ha. Ellington has been at fault to. There have been several times where he had a lane and then just fell because he tripped of a blade of grass. Not sure why he gives up so easily? Is it because he is being used to much and doesn't want to get hurt? His dives to me have nothing to do with his foot issue. Just seems to want to avoid being hit and goes down.

If he has anything left in the tank (and I think he does because his legs are fresh), he'll serve multiple purposes. First & foremost, he's a weapon inside the 10 that we sorely miss. As you mentioned, he has ALWAYS had a nose for the endzone. Secondly, he will definitely tire the D down because of his bulk & that he's a downhill style runner. Also, he has always had good hands & is dangerous with the screen pass. He had a very good college career with Louisville & was positioned to be a pretty high draft choice until he snapped his leg in half. Lastly, he will take some of the heavy lifting off of Ellington's shoulders. That will make Elington far more dangerous! I pushed hard for Blount for these very reasons. I liked Blount's nastiness & the fact that he had a huge chip on his shoulder trying to prove the Steelers wrong. We may see something similar from Bush & he's not the numbskull that Blount is. I hope we see a little of Bush today.
