Levi...ugh. Even the year where he had good stats, when he did break down it was the worst timing. It seemed like he gave up sacks or caused the QB to run for his life at the worst possible moments after playing well for two downs. If we have to rely on this guy we are in trouble.

Let's hope that works this time because that is exactly what Whisenhunt and staff did last year when they went to Lindley. And it didn't work because Lindley was so inaccurate. That change in the offense had as much or more to do with the improved sack numbers as any improvement from Potter and Massie.

The problem with last year is that Lindley constantly missed easy completions. Also, the idea isn't to shorten route depth and pass drops, it is to VARY route depth and pass drops. As a whole, Whis was a predictable play caller and did not have much varience in his offense (or at least it wasn't executed). Hopefully that is what changes.

Stop making excuses for his lackluster play already Fish. :mulli:
The Cards cut his sorry ass, then didn't learn their lesson bringing him back. I'm tired of hearing about his good 1/2 season in 6.

He's not an adequate pass blocking LT in a pass heavy offense, which is what Wiz's & BA's offense are...he's just a bad fit IMO & we should've cut our losses when we had the chance!!! The Cards continue trying to put a square peg in a round hole.

I would've much preferred handing out mega $$$ to Bushrod last year than relying on an inferior player...but nooooooo! :bang: A proven great commodity vs. a unprovenly bad commodity...it's the Cardinal way I guess.

Whoa Kemosabe-----I'm not advocating that you make excuses for any poor play on Levi's part, only that you don't boo him for every sack he gives up. That is VERY counter-productive in that it really sticks out when you boo our own players. There are 53 guys in opponents colors to boo, and a handful or so of guys in black and white stripes that generally make good targets too.

There is no need to boo any Cardinal player, as the coaching staff will know when one is not doing his job. I trust them to get the best guy into the game at every position. You should too.

You don't need to boo him for every sack he gives up, but Levi Brown frequently gives up on plays, or allows an unblocked defender to come free.

I pay my money for the ticket, and I'm going to boo Levi Brown when he blows a block. These guys are well-compensated. They do a very difficult job, but they're well-compensated for doing so. I'll boo Ryan Williams when he fumbles, too.

It doesn't make sense (to me) to boo Paris Lenon, or Ryan Bethel. They're doing a difficult job and aren't as well-compensated.

But if Levi Brown made $5M for not playing last season, I'm not going to worry about whether his feelings get hurt because he's not good at football.

Yep

When a guy is below average doing his job, way overpaid & has been for his entire career I'm boing his performance because hes one of the reasons my team loses or my QB performs worse than he could...Levi deserves being booed & justifibly so.

Guess I will clap after each & every one of his sacks allowed this year. :D

...and I'm betting its double digits.

I'll give him the benefit of a year, being coached by someone not named Grimm.

Son- I say again you got your wires crossed! I keep my feathers number for just such an occasion ! :mulli:
This a reduced workload on Levi over the first half of his career , I thought when he went down and the team followed you would see my points. Like Arians and a handful of NON CARDINAL FANS SEE! Levi deserves a ton of credit for SB appearance and success.

Hey defense were going to pass again- yea you - almost every time you stupid defense -and- there aint a damn thing you can do about because Bad Bad Levi Brown has Kurt's blind side- through many records Cardinals first SB- yea its the most ever asked from a LT ever- but he only gave up 26 sacks each year with over 600 pass attempts in 08, 09.

Don't worry though defenses most Cards fan will blame Levi- their just stupid that way- they don't know how to win - or appreciate an elite player-

Levi Brown is not, has not, has never been the problem with the Arizona Cardinals Football Club- except last year when he got hurt- We will not run enough to give him a "chance" against defenses for the rest of his career - He has already done what was formerly impossible -

But that's ok He don't me to defend him- Hew's proven as the strongest toughest man in the NFL- but He won't say it- He has class.

I wondered if anyone else noticed.

Hopefully, Arians doesn't believe that Palmer can take all the punishment Roethlisberger took and takes in Pittsburgh to get the ball down the field.

Where do you come up with such crap? Levi didn't play LT when the Cards were successful or winning during the Warner era!!! When Levi has played LT for the Cards, we have sucked & his sacks allowed are towards the worst in the league...that's a fact! I'm pretty damn certain Levi Brown hasn't played LT on a single Cardinals playoff win!!! ;) I'm pretty certain he won't be playing LT on the next one either.

Saying Levi isn't part of the problem is beyond ridiculous...he's more part of the problem than part of the solution:bang:
