This was last season and now Ralph is out of a job while the other 3 are still here. Besides, they don't have to actually be mentored to learn from them. Just being up close and seeing how its done goes a long way.

Yeah when Ralph had already made the squad and had a job. Also, I don't even know if Miller can teach our guys anything so the mentoring is a moot point.

I'm not arguing that Miller should be mentoring anyone. I already admitted that I screwed up and thought he was a pro bowl CB. My point is that it's common for players to help other players out and even if they don't, young players can still learn a lot from just being on the same practice field.

Alright, fair enough. I just think its a bit nieve (I'm not accusing you of this) to believe that a player legitimately fearing for job security would actively mentor our younger players.

Justin Miller might be a stopgap deep down in our depth, perhaps taking the spot that Ralph Brown had. I wouldn't be opposed to that, though I would prefer better.

I expect the Cards to draft a CB early next year.

I think people need to take the trial in perspective before they rule the guy out. First of its only trial so if the coaches dont feel he can go some way back to his former self then they wont bring him aboard. If succesfull at camp he can fill a need which is largely gonna be as a special teams contributor. He can be lethal at kick/punt returns if he has recoverd from his injury, fill the Adams role, and i believe he was a gunner with the jets previously which wouldnt surprise ke. He would only be brought in if the Cardinals feel he can fufill a few of this tid bits for the special teams.

If the guy fills the Morey role or makes that idiot Wright expendable that would be great. If he contributed in dime coverage that'd be gravy.

We have a lot of guys who have special teams return ability now in LSH, Jefferson, Roberts, Calvin, Breaston & now Miller.

FWIW, Wright is very likely the smartest guy on the entire team. He is also a great locker room guy.

Doubt it. Any guy who dances on the field during a playoff game while the team is trailing by 3 TDs and has to be told to stop and get his head in the game by a coach is an idiot. He was embarassing the team, they should have cut him right then and there when the Saints game ended.

The Saints fans were rightfully laughing and making fun of that idiot. I'll never have respect for that guy, he is honestly the only Cardinals player I dislike with a passion.

As opposed to the multitude of players that do the little 1st down dance, or the TD dance, or the sack dance, or the tackled for loss dance, or the INT Dance even though they are down my a lot of points?

You would have to cut half your roster every single year.

If you had seen it you wouldn't be excusing it. I watched Whisenhunt tell that coach to tell him to stop--it was obvious he wasn't happy, not sure who the coach was--maybe the special teams coach.

He was dancing like he was on a dance floor, not a spontaneous celebration dance for a good play. He was dancing during the TV time out while waiting for the ball, the only one acting like he didn't know what the score was.

The guy will always be an idiot IMO after that.

Not really, every Cardinal fan around me was disgusted though. Especially considering he did it on 2 different kick offs.

I can excuse a guy forgetting himself after making a big play, but this guy was going all out twice while standing next to LSH waiting for the whistle to kick the ball. I want a guy who is focused on what is going on not out there making a fool of himself (and the team) during a game we are getting humiliated.
