For being a step above the bottom, the Cardinals sure are worth a lot.

The Cardinals are worth an estimated $673 million, 31st in the 32-team NFL, according to Forbes magazine.

The Washington Redskins remained the league's most valuable franchise at $1.26 billion, an increase of 15 percent over last year. The Redskins, owned by Daniel Snyder, are most valuable primarily because of their ownership of 91,000-seat FedEx Field.

The Cardinals had the highest increase in value at 22 percent, yet they had revenue of $153 million, lowest in the NFL. However, the team posted a $16.2 million profit, according to Forbes. Every NFL team made money last year, with the Dallas Cowboys earning the most at $54.3 million.

Forbes said the Cardinals, long one of the lowest valued teams in the NFL, should see their stock rise significantly next year when they move into a new stadium in Glendale.

The Cardinals said they had no comment.

A complete listing can be found at Forbes.com.

Darn we could have bought them two years ago for only 540 million.

But even at $672 (we get a million $ discount for being Cards fans) million its only $19,200 per person if we get 35,000 fans to invest. Our annual return would be $462.00 per stockholder or about 2.4%.

Since that is a little better than what a money market account pays I think everyone should clear out their accounts and make Bill an offer.

Capitol Gains tax on the sale would probably be enormous though so Bill probably wouldn't sell. :(

Next year in the new stadium the value should surpass a cool Billion. We certainly can afford to bring in a few more stars!

They need to deduct the 25,000 Bidwill offered for Hurrican Relief
That donation was so pathetic. Baron Davis donated 50,000 himself. Just shows how all Bidwill cares about is money.
