What is the weakest position on the Cardinals roster right now ?
I trust that we have three decent starters at CB (including Rolle, who will be moved back if for some impossible reason the Cards don't draft one or two).
At DE, we have Dockett, and Smith... and we're waiting for Rodney Bailey to sign.

We have a probowler in Dockett. It isn't our worst position. Smith is at least serviceable.
The question wasn't the "worst" position, it was the "weakest." IMO, DE is the weakest position. We at least have a player that we could put on the field in the event of an injury to Green or Hood. If Antonio Smith goes down, we currently have no one to take his place.
And Dockett was a Pro Bowl alternate. I think that Hood also played worthy of Pro Bowl consideration. So we're kind of at a push there.
If Smith goes down, Berry can be moved back there.
And he would be terrible. Berry is undersized for a 4-3 DE. If the Cards ran a Tampa-2 defense, he'd be more likely to fit in. I like him at his current Rush LB spot, but Berry would have to add 18 lbs to his frame to be the same size as Smith is now.
Berry doesn't effectively stuff the run as it currently stands. At a position where he'd be asked to help take on blockers for the LBs behind him, I think he'd be a disaster.
No worse than our CB's would be, if Green/Hood went down. Rolle moving back would be a step back for our secondary as a whole.
I believe it would. We've seen how our secondary is with Rolle and Hood as the starters. It was pretty bad, but it wasn't terrible. With Berry out (and he would be effectively eliminated being double-teamed by a tackle and guard), you'd be weakening two positions.
I agree that if Hood goes down, the entire secondary is in trouble. But at least we have nominal depth at cornerback. We don't even have that if either Dockett or Smith got nicked. We'd maybe be able to put in Alan Branch, but then you're weakening two positions by not resting Gabe Watson as much as you might like to.
I firmly believe that Ralph Brown is better than an empty slot on the depth chart--and I don't like Ralph Brown.
We need a playmaker at Cornerback. We need players at Defensive end. That's why I believe that it's our weakest position.

Side question: did we ever re-sign Bailey?

i would expect that CB will run away with this poll. I voted for WR because i think #3 WR is the weakest position on the team. A #3 WR is practically a starter in today's NFL. I like our starting CB's but there is a definite lack of depth there as well.
If this poll was done at the end of last season,FS would have been the runaway winner.
