Wow...um...wow. Just when you thought the game was getting away, this team did a HUGE gutcheck, put together a drive that was part grind and part luck and put the game away handing the Seahawks yet another 4th quarter loss.

The Good

-No explanation needed for this.

Pete Carroll's Face-Please tell me someone has a gif of his face after the Ellington TD.

Jaron Brown-With Smoke being basically invisible(I'm guessing the hammy is still bothering him) and Floyd on the bench, he came up huge with a couple of big 1st downs including one that appeared was going to be intercepted.

Winning In Seattle-While it's true they haven't been good this season, they're still the defending conference champions.

Statement Game-No one can say anything about us beating sub par teams all season.

Another Team 100 Yard Rushing Game-Even though no one player excelled(except Ellington's big run) we still out rushed them.

Surviving The Turnover Battle-7 turnovers in 2 games but 2 wins. Can't make this a habit.

1st Half Defense-I don't think I've ever seen this defense better this season. The 2nd half...well...

The Bad

2nd Half Defense-They tightened it up on the 2nd half of the 4th quarter but at times it looked like Seattle had it too easy.

Bobby Massie-To give credit where credit is due, he had a good final drive but otherwise, I'm thinking they need to change his number to #75. He's Levi Brown awful.

Frostee Rucker-Now I loves me some Frostee but 2 illegal motion penalties on 2 different kicks is nearly unheard of.

Jerraud Powers-His new team photo:

The Ugly

Carson Palmer Turnovers-Literally cost us 21 points tonight. INT in the endzone and 2 strip sack TD's.

Officials-I might as well make this a sticky in Ugly. Not only is the officiating bad but the replay booth are blind too. That 4th down play with Tukufatu wasn't even close. It looked like they took the offensive lineman who came through the line. They had to have because Tukufatu was down at least a yard short if not more. Not even close. I mean he was on his back at least a yard short. Horrible and seemed like the officials were hell bent on allowing Seattle a 1st down on that sequence having given them a horrible spot the play before. Then the non-holding calls on Seattle and the bogus holding on PP. They might as well close their eyes and call a game.

That's all for now. I'm exhausted after working then coming home for the 2nd half. Let's beat them Bengals next!

Carson's really going to want this Bengals game: probably hopes they come in undefeated.

This game showed how much balls this team has. Palmer turned it over 3 times? Sure not all of them were his fault. But the way this team responded just proves how strong this team is. I heard on the radio on the way home....and it stuck with me. Basically it came down to how you have to have amnesia when things get bad. That whole offense completely forgot how they f'ed up twice in a row, came back and won the **** out of that game.

Any other cards team would have folded, but this team conquered their demons at the end of the game. I'm so proud of this team.

Seattle record-wise does not look dominate....but if you are an NFL fan, you know that this win is a season-changing win for the Cardinals. Dillfer played on it in his ESPN highlights. Calling the Cards the second best NFC team is HUGE.

Dilfer said they were the 2nd best team in the NFL behind the Patriots. Not that I love Trent Dilfer, but we'll take it where we can get it.

The Bad - Massie and the Oline. Too many free shots on CP. CP took way to many hits last night. Massie blocked down on many occasions and allowed the DE to have a free shot at Palmer. Can't keep doing this. Either the TE has to help block or Massie has to handle his position himself

The Good - After all the adversity in this game to watch AE run down the sidelines was heart warming. Larry was a stud last night. Floyd made some huge catches when we needed them.

The Ugly - Watching Wilson run all over the place and our D was a half step short all the time. Even when we had him sacked he threw the ball away. Unreal.

I would also put the play calling as good. On Ellington's TD they used the Seattle Bull Rush against them with a draw play.

Also on good I would put the fact we shut Collinworth up. No idea why he hates the Cards but it was sweet it happened in front of him.

Also good was Palmers/Stanton's celebration to the Seattle fans after Ellingtons TD

That play called on the Ellington TD was a play that was a bread and butter play back in the days for Penn State when JoePa coached them ( I am talking the 60s and 70s here). They called it a sprint out draw. The QB starts to sprint out to one side then hands it off the RB as a draw play. It's a very old play and probably nothing Seattle has ever seen. When I was it all I could think was OMG an old PSU play!

Definitely some protection issues with the right side of the O-line. Give Seattle credit. They have one of THE best pass rushes in the entire league.

All in all, a great come-from-behind win in a very difficult environment to win in. There are STILL very few NFL teams that can go into Seattle and win. The Cardinals and Panthers are two of them.

It is true that without those turnovers, especially the two fumbles, it would have been a blowout.

Haha, I'll have to take your word for it I just thought it was a train wreck at the start of the play.

I love having BA as a head coach he does all the fun stuff you wish you had the ability to do if you were a coach and to older guys like me he's my hero because he's the wise old cool dude you'd love to have some beers with.

Another Bad: Blowing a 19 point lead. I don't care if you're playing Seattle or Detroit, you don't blow a 19 point lead. Aren't going to do that too often and win.

A win is a win but this team is making way way way too many mistakes that won't fly in the post season. I was glad to see the team respond to the gut punch but the untimely turnovers and blowing the lead last night are two things the Cards won't get away with in the playoffs.

You still have to be proud though. In the past the team would have folded and they didn't.

Even when this offense isn't clicking they still move the ball at will. Actually there is only 2 games this year that the Cards had less than 400 yards of offense and those were blowout wins over Chicago and Detroit.

Win or lose there is always areas of concern. Massie looking like he doesn't have a clue is one area. On the first strip sack he was literally standing around like he was lost. That is bad.

And how many times last night was he literally still in his stance with no one to block because they had dipped inside or run around him? There's no excuse, the only time I've ever seen that in my life is when I play Madden and motion a TE to block the other side of the formation and they drop in coverage, it looks exactly the same. It's like he's thinking, someone please engage me, I'm all alone here, sigh, that's gonna look bad on tape tomorrow. Lol

Good

Both teams coming off a bye in prime time. Hags had 2 weeks to prepare their best shot at home in a game they needed much more than the Cards.

+ 1 Good.

Some are already saying they're not the same team. They're probable not. Still as you said. After a bye week, home, division game, 1 game or 3 games back and IMO a mental hurtle they didn't want us to cross that they needed to keep. They had to give us their best shot to save their season and we won. If they don't win another game it still was a big game. We took it and that's that for me.

They may not be the same team.

Neither are we. :)

I can't wait for the Cincinnati game. You know this team is going to ball out for Palmer.

Why does he hate us ?

Don't you remember his 2008 comments
