You can't put in permanant seats because then you would be unable to roll in and out the field.

The temporary seating takes 3-4 days to install and take down, which means if you have back to back homes games you wouldn't be able to pull the seats down and get the field out at all that week, and you would be unable to use the stadium floor for things like tractor pulls, and convention space.

That's ok. During back to back homegames, you just leave the seats in, and open the roof. Seems to work for the Cowboys for example. (Yes, I hated using the Cowboys in any post, and yes I know they are getting a new stadium.) It could work in spot duty for the Cards.

Really - anyone that had season tickets in 2005 or earlier EASILY could have gotten season tix for 2006 and beyond.
You have an excuse if you just moved to Maricopa County - otherwise: TFB.

Double :stupid::stupid:

After I bought my season tickets the Cards asked me 3x either via mail or in person if I wanted more. There was plenty of opportunity.

On the one hand I should have done this and made a killing in $$, but on the other, I'm glad I didn't and know I'm not contributing to loading the stadium with opposing fans.

Quadruple :stupid: :stupid: :stupid: :stupid:

Not only was there plenty of opportunity for locals to renew their tickets based on seniority, but BEFORE ANY NEW ONES WERE OFFERED season ticket holders had the option to add on. We added on 4 seats in the family section up top, so I can take my family if ever need be. I thought ahead on this. I can't help it if people decided not to become season ticket holders back in SDS knowing that they would have priority for the new digs (was common knowledge and promoted by the team). I can't help it if season ticket holders feel sorry for not getting extra seats when the team gave them the opportunity to.

I'm not sorry there is a waiting list of 5,400 people (est what, 4 tix per person on the list. Maybe 3 average?) I think that is awesome.

People had a free ride for NFL tickets for a decade plus in this town, and didn't want to brave the elements. Now that we have a nice stadium, they can pound sand for not getting in line early enough.

The Cowboys don't play on natural grass.

Actually bros, I just moved to Arizona in May from Pennsylvania, where I was attending college.. I wanted to get the cheap seats, was put on the pick list, only to have them do the "second chance" deal where current holders got to pick a second round of seats. By the time I got to my selection day, the 10 dollar seats were gone and I was **** outta luck.

People offer seats to games on this board all the time, bro. All the time. Usually for face or a little over. Post your requests, and people will usually take you up on them.

I wonder how many brokers / scalpers will renew. If you look at the home schedual next season the Steelers game looks like the only one you could get more than face value for.

You can get good value for the good seats, regardless of the team. I saw good Lions tickets being sold well above face value.

Cleveland will be a big draw as well. It's been a long time since they've played here.

2008 will be a huge draw with the Cowboys, Giants, Dolphins and our annual game with Detroit.

The NFL ought to save some effort and just have the Lions and Cards play every Thanksgiving.

I went to the stadium twice on the Monday after a game and the field was outside.
