Tempe, AZ – The Arizona Cardinals Football Club today announced its ticket pricing for the 2007 season at University of Phoenix Stadium.

Cardinals tickets remain among the most affordable in the National Football League and the average cost of $73.93 remains nearly $8 beneath the projected 2007 league average of $81.66.

Sideline seats have gone from $75 to $82.50 while other seats have increased by either $2 or $5.

Over 12,000 seats will be priced at $30 or less, including approximately 5,000 tickets priced at $15. These $15 and $30 seats are among the lowest-priced available in the NFL.

Season tickets in the Main (lower) Level went from $75 to $82.50 on the sidelines, $55 to $60 in the corners, and $45 to $50 in the end zone.

Seats in the Ring of Honor went from $75 to $82.50 on the sidelines and from $55 to $60 in the corners and end zone.

Seats on the Terrace (upper) Level went from $65 to $67 at midfield, $55 to $57 on the sidelines, $25 to $30 in the corners, and $10 to $15 in the end zone.

Cardinals season tickets are currently sold out. Those interested in the chance to purchase season tickets for the 2007 season must join the Cardinals season ticket waiting list. Sign up today by visiting the Cardinals website (www.azcardinals.com) or by calling 602-379-0102. Nearly 6,000 individuals are presently on the waiting list.

As part of the Arizona Sports & Tourism Authority’s stadium and site finance package, a $4.50 per game Facility Use Fee (“FUF”) will be added to the cost of each ticket for Cardinals games and other major events at the stadium. The FUF, which will increase each year by $0.25, is collected for the repayment of bonds that were issued to fund the stadium construction, infrastructure, and other related costs.

Nickle and dimeing.

Whats another $50.00? Right.

Another losing season and another price hike next year and I think I will have a big decision to make.

Yeah, too bad their play on the field continues to be well BELOW the league average. Average is 8-8. We haven't seen that in a long time!!!

Has anyone else heard that they were calling the season ticket waiting list people and telling them they can get tickets? My mailman (an Eagles fan) said he got called Tuesday and that he was 372 on the list and that he could get tickets this coming year and did he still want them. How would they know if the tickets were available before they send out renewels? Are they adding seats? Maybe they are just checking the interest because they know a bunch are going to cancel and now with a price hike many willh? Talk about a PR problem. I guess it really does not matter to them if they have a solid fan base. They know opposing teams fans will just get the seats anyway and on the once in 12 years they do field a competitive team then maybe they will convert one or two of there kids.

We put in a request to be on the waiting list with two games left in the season and have not been contacted at all. I'm not surprised though. Poor customer service was one reason we dumped our tickets after 12 consecutive seasons as season-ticket holders. I've been to all of the games except for two (preseason games) since they moved here and there's no real benefit unless you prefer to sit in one spot.

I signed a 5 year lease. I believe I can't get a price increase for the first 2 or 3 years.

Two reasons they may be selling to people on the list.

1. They've expanded seating (most logical) in the south end zone and they'll seat a few thousand there.

2. They've decided to sell less individual tickets, directing more to season ticket holders. Last year, I believe, there was about 3,000 individual tickets per game.

The reality is that not everyone will renew.

Remember that lease came with a limit on price increases. Somewhere in the 3-5% max range. I don't remember exactly if its over the life of the lease or each year.

I'm probably going to give up my upper deck seat since no one ever wanted to use it.

I could see this coming. They should call this the " Better Assistant Coaches Fee". $7.50 = 1 less beer a game and if they play better, I won't miss it.

I am taking a guess that the Cardinals are considering adding seats, yet would like to still assure that they will have season ticket sellouts. It would be an extreme PR blunder if they add seats and in doing so create a situation of not selling out, thereby causing TV blackouts.

They simply counted the number of people walking out of the frat house after the games who were saying "that's it I'll never buy another ticket to a Cardinals game as long as I live!" or words to that effect. Then they discounted it by ASFN/.365. (The factor for guys who say that on ASFN every week and then show back up by Wednesday.)
