Who needs this free agency garbage. The Cards roster is loaded with potential and I think they'll be the surprise team on 2013. Bruce Arians, the best coach never hire before the age of 60 will lead the way.
Who need guys like the following:
Jake Long: Who needs a pro bowl LT when you have Nate Potter. Hey, he looked good compared to Batiste. Plus, who knows, we may draft Reid Fragel in round 6 this year. He looked good in Indy.
Jared Cook: if we get stuck in a pickle at the TE position, Todd Heap is local and just a phone call away.
Andy Levitre: Psssh. Nate Potter can play guard if needed. Plus we have 12 OL coaches to get the most out of Colledge and Snyder.
Chris Wells: Man, I reaaly like what I saw from Ryan Williams back in the 2010 camp. Plus, he showed real promise in the 23 carries over the past 2 years before landing on IR. Then we also have Smith and Powell. All they need is a chance and we'll never regret passing on AP again. I mean, heck, Powell led the league in rushing last pre-season.
Daniel Ellerbe: Once Larry Foote re-signed in Pittsburgh, the ILB market was dried up. Ellerbe could never fit in the plans because he is under the age of 30.
Paul Kruger: THIS, is the year Schoefield breaks out. I've got him penciled in for 3-4 sacks if he stays healthy. No need for a guy like Kruger. Plus, I think Nate Potter can rush the passer in a pinch.
Any QB: we have Brian Hoyer locked up, what else is needed? Anyone else is only vying for a backup job. The Cards website say Hoyer would have been in hot demand and they were lucky to keep him.
At least we are looking at some good STer's. We'll need some good kickoff coverage after all those TD's we score. I think Nate Potter can play ST's as well.
Once we draft Eric Fisher and Matt Barkely, the sky is the limit for your 2013 Arizona Cardinals.
