That's what happens when you have a Train Rex Grossman-esque split personality. He either plays average to pretty good or absolutely awful.

The official clearly decided to use a strict interpretation of the rule. Unlike earlier when Dalton was clearly in the grasp and the official chose NOT to use the strict interpretation of the rule.
