Just now...heard it from Chris Melvin...Thanks Chris.

Tim Wansley lacks height but he's very instinctive...had two nice INTs against Carolina in a game last year and started several games before suffering a leg injury. Drafted in the 7th round out of Georgia by TB in 2002...Wansley is in just his 3rd season in the NFL.

Wansley was regarded as a project, down here in Tampa. He was forced to start pretty early in the season and his inexperience was taken advantage of.

There was also a story about him falling asleep at a team meeting and Gruden making an example out of him.

I'm sure he welcomes the new scenery and if he could be brought along slowly, might be a real steal.

I mentioned him last week as a possibility as the fourth corner. His only drawback is he lacks height, but so do Starks and Macklin. The Cards will be o.k. with Starks, Macklin, Hill, and Wansley at corneback. You wonder if DG will consider Tyrone Williams of Atlanta after June 1st? The safety position may also be addressed late this spring.
