I just found an old Super 8 tape that has about a minute and a half of the Cards Corner dinner before the Cowboys game in 1997.

I recognized Zeno, Gollin, JRein, Pdonaldo ( who was a good friend of Skorp) and SBNetsport and the fan from Dallas who worked for the Texas Fraud unit. Sadly I don't remember his old screen name.

If you were there let me know and what you looked like 15 years ago. I'm going to try to convert it to a format to get it on You Tube eventually.

Pretty cool. Obviously I wasn't there, but had I been I would have had more hair.

I was there

I think I sat down by your end of the table -- I also believe I was right across from Gollin

It was a pretty exclusive club back then.

I got the invitation but I couldn't make the trip. Those were the days... 2400 modem that took 10 minutes to load the page. I'm pretty sure I had the same screen name back then. Sskorp would complain to me about being a golfer because he said golf courses were sucking the valley dry of water.

Sadly I only took a couple pics of the party for the NFC championship Jersey put together. Lost them.

I remember that night. That was at Monti's right? Is that place still around?

I was nothing more than a kid back then..not quite 25. I turn 40 next week.

Zeno,
Those were the days. Like you, I was a Cards Corner regular too, but being from NJ couldnt make it out for the meet up. Also like you I turn 40 in a few weeks. Where does the time go???

Go Cardinals!

Yeah it was Monti's. Remember we also got together at the draft party at Rockin' Rodeo. Somewhere I have the panoramic photos that Pdonaldo took. Maybe I'll find them soon also.

How many of you still have your autographed cap?

Those were the days. I could load a page, go get some work done while it was loading, and then go read the page. Now all my work is on the computer.

I wasn't even a twinkle in the internet's eyes. I was overseas in Bosnia. Actually, I might have been on the internet--I had night TOC watch and did get to surf the company's only computer then :)

I still have the cap somewhere.

Rockin Rodeo was fun, I remember when we drafted Plummer, the place went nuts.

Is PDonaldo around anymore? He used to give me a ride up to Flagstaff when we would go watch practice.

Last I heard he had moved to Minnesota. Posted here for a short while under a different name according to a conversation I had with the founder.

Things sure were different then. The lines for autographs at that draft party were only one or two deep.

Monti's is indeed still there....He just ran for Mayor of Tempe but lost. I have Prime Rib Monday there twice a month. Great Old Steakhouse. We all get old:D

I was pretty damn sexy looking 15 years ago.. Sort of like what I look like now.. Only now I'm much more sexier.. It's getting outta hand this whole getting sexier thing with me.. I'll learn to live with it though..

The guy from Texas would be me. Still have the cap everyone signed and really remember just how hot SDS was.

One day I'm going to get back to see a game in the new stadium. Can't believe I've been a diehard fan of the Cardinal since the late 60's.

One of my sons got hooked on the Cardinal bandwagon and hasn't forgiven me to this day :)>

Glad to hear you're still alive. Sad to hear you're still a Cardinals fan. :D

That was a great game. I thought sure JRein was going to kill us all with his bear hugs after the game.
