Okay so Cap money is the only thing saving Gresham.Shipley could be next.Bucannon experiment should be next one dumped.Too small for LB too slow for DB.

All can be replaced by younger cheaper draft picks.

I really like the center Ragnow out of Arkansas :raccoon:

So what is the defensive scheme? 3-4? 4-3? Big widebodies front 4 and pass rush from LBs?
It’s a base 4-3 with big lineman and huge tackles. He’s too slow to play end and at 6-6 280 could not ever hold the point of attack like the DT’s Wilks had in Carolina that were 6-2 315.

Trying to decide if you're upset about this. Are you implying cap money isn't a good reason to cut/not cut somebody? It absolutely dictates a majority of cuts in this league. And yes, I'm ok with cutting both Shipley and Buc if we have better replacements for the same money.

Mauro was fine, but for $2.8M we can do better. It's a tough business, but he'll land on his feet somewhere else.

Looking at the DLINE group Cards are very thin playerwise.Plus if Cards are going BIGBOY DTs then say goodbye to Gunter,Pasoni,Anau,Nkemdiche(who sucks).

Roger. No, totally agree. This can't be the group we enter the season with, Keim better makes some upgrades. I guess I'm assuming we'll replace Mauro with someone

It's not, according to Wilks. It's a hybrid based on existing personnel.
