Both are bad. Keesean was more bad.

I hope to god this is for Dortch because Wesley is trash. I don't understand why I see people here wanting him to stick.

He had 5 yards in 2 PS games.
He's never played an NFL game
In his 2 years in the league he spent 1 on IR
He had one of the worst combines I've seen

The only reason I can see people want him is that he's tall
I would prefer to take a flier on Breshad Perriman than Wesley.

The myth of the tall receiver is pervasive, just like the myth of the tall corner is.

Most of the guys over 6'2 at WR have been horrible.

So u are willing to give a roster spot to a 27 years old tigh end with 5 receptions and 67 yards in his nfl career
U must be a very talented scout to see the reasons to add him

Honestly, I think AI would be a Bill B type of receiver.

This is the only thing I can figure. Issabella might attract interest because of his draft status and limited exposure. I’m hoping Johnson comes back. He seems to get it and I think he would be a good possession receiver.

Have to think an offensive lineman will be cut. I don't believe they will keep 10. Sean Harlow, Brian Winters or Justin Murray are probably at the bottom.

Wesley is getting cut.

Another S will get cut. Charles Washington, Shaun Williams and Dionte Thompson all kinda do the same thing. Also, Simmons might be more of a base S than originally planned.

EDIT: I already had Streveler on my cut list so add him to my projected. Same with Dennard.

When are practice squad signees announced? Is it right after all teams make the cuts to 53?

We are not in good shape moving forward if Hicks plays more then 50% of the snaps
Meh. We will probably only play base 35 to 45% of the time. That will limit Hicks snap %. Simmons can play ILB in nickel and essentially be our Kam Chancelor which is probably what he should have been this whole time. Jalen Thompson playing in nickel packages is not a bad thing.

What the preseason showed me is what Simmons lacks in instincts, he makes up for in his ability to recover. Being further away from the ball early in the season will help that.

Over nearly 29 year old Ross Travis who has 142 yards in 6 seasons? Sure.
