Why punt?! On the 50, 3rd and 4 with 2:30 left...I don't get that

Agreed. The odds of us being able to pick up 4 yards have to be better than the odds of stopping Portis and the skins trying to grind it out.

WTF!!! You go for 4th down like everytime and don't go for 4th and 4 from the 50 yd line. We have yet to hold them to a 3 an out all game...Why would we now??? That was a dumb coaching decision there.

not a fair assesment of the result of this game. the skins had a TD called back......the cards got a questionable PI call in their favor that kept a TD drive alive on 3rd down. If you want to go the mistake route....the cards made plenty of errors in this game that you can't have when you play an NFC East team on the road. One other thing that stood out in the last two mins. Zorn played to win. He went for the win with the 52 yard fg, but fell short. He then put the ball in the hands of campbell late to put it away...when other play callers might have been soft and kept it on the ground. I don't like the punt by whis...not playing to win.

GOOD GOD!!... what a frustrating loss. I started yelling at the tv right around the time our defense looked uninterested in the 4th. How the **** do you not play with any fire when your team is down by 7 with about 10 left in the game. I think there are still a few weeds we have to pick from this team. Guys, who just trot around on the field playing with no emotion. Man, I grew up playing the game hard as hell, always.. It's frustrating knowing that some of the guys in the game just dont really give two craps about being a winner. Just "work" for em.. I just cant help but feel like that when i watch some of these guys at times. Wow, and our uhhh "secondary"... what secondary? Do you guys think this is a Clancy thing?? or just crappy db thing?? We need to move DRC up on the depth chart here pretty soon. Rod Hood? dude... Not only the Steve Smith thing last year, now this.. Of course we got lucky on this one, but that one last year completely robbed us of that game... Such freaking low IQ guys on this team. A lot of them from the Denny era..Where do we pick up some of the smarter players in the league? I am all for it. I am also seriously thinking that we needed to try and get LeBeau to replace Pendy...Of course, we wont be able to do this because of the position title thing. No more association with the guys Denny had... Denny took this job for a vacay and pay another payday, and I wont believe anything else about the guy. Man, I am typing alot... Just got to vent. lol But, this just frustrates me.. I really thought our defense was "getting it" and was really becoming a force. But, good defenses dont let very mediocre offenses run and pass all over them. I just don't think Pendy is a good coordinator and it seems we never make any adjustments throughout the game. And that is on his shoulders. Not the players.

And, uh, for all the great things Kurt does, he just absolutely opens up nothing on our offense because of his complete inability to scramble. It is almost to the point where it is just sad seeing him sitting back there like a duck. Can that man even run a 40 in under 8 sec?? That just kills our offense @ times. MOVE OUTSIDE THE POCKET KURT!!!! But, of course, when he has forever to just sit back there and throw (like last week) he can wait for things to open up. This is the NFL, and you just HAVE to be able to scramble to be successful as a good to great offense.

Also, we were just completely out coached today in every aspect. I don't think much else is needed on this...One word today. Pathetic!!
