I doubt he has something left
McFadden, Rodney Bailey, Arians, OT Oliver Ross, Todd Heap played against Pittsburgh twice a year, does he count?Whisenhunt. Grimm. Haggens. Porter. Bryant. Gay. Faneca. Dwyer. Horton. Foote. Starks. Mendenhall. << this is ridiculous. And in sure I'm missing a few or 10 others we brought in from Pitt.
At least we gave them Levi..
Could this mean a John Abraham suspension is looming?
Highly doubtful. If Abraham is able to move the court date to after the season, he'll be safe.
MJ indicated that BASK are concerned about not getting to the QB with only four rushers, which is why he's turning over every stone.
This coaching staff isn't stupid and neither is the front office.
As numerous posters have stated, our OLBs are not getting the pass rushing push that's needed. Kicking the tires on one of the more decorated OLBs of the past decade is a good move. His knowledge on pass rushing techniques should help on the practice field and in the locker room.
Jurecki just alluded to it on twitter. Just because we bring in a vet for a workout does not mean an immediate signing. Remember vet contracts signed after week one are no longer guaranteed. They could be kicking the tires on vets like this just in case they need something after week 1. It is a strategy the Pats and a few other teams use every year.
Would it hurt to see if he could give us anything? Only problem is, who's roster spot would he take?
But yeah, we seem to be the hospice for the steelers!
