Lobo e-mailed me about the possibility of getting together with the AFSN Chicago land members for the Monday Night Bears Game. Sounds like it might be a great idea.
I'l start it off.
My name is Al and I live in plainfield. For those who may not know, Plainfield is about 40 miles SW of Chicago.

"to Al"

Al, I live in Indiana now, but at one time I lived in Sterling, IL. Too make a long story short, on Sundays the Priest at St Mary's would say "God Bless The Bears", my Dad and I were Cardinal Fans (Chicago-S.T. Louis) and we would "BOO" him. I still live in IN and still love the "CARDS".

what about the idea of being part of a group to watch the game together...we don't have an idea where at this point but let us know if you have a level of being part of it.

Serious storms last night in the Chitown area: 70 plus mph winds, funnel clouds, flooding, downed trees, etc.

I hope everyone is okay.

live on the southside.... there's still a group that goes to Schallers Pump in Bridgeport right by Sox Park. Up until recently, some actual players from the old chicago days went up there.....I think a fullback from the 50's team went there.

People underestimate just how many fans in chicago there are.....

When I had my business on Pershing and Wallace I had to eat lunch there every day as my partner insisted. When he wasn't around I would go up to Manny's and really eat!!

I still believe we should get together and enjoy the game somewhere...I have a giant set..like five feet wide and would volunteer to host a get together. I live in Inverness...between Palatine and Barrington.

By the way my basement took in water that I am currently bailing. No lost power it is not too bad
