Can I produce the movie if I can talk Jaleel White into signing on?
cheese would write "Erkle: The Movie" for the right amount of money.
This article just goes to show that you can spin things anyway you want.
I would think this article could just as easily written as saying "Same Ol' Cardinals refusing to pay guys that have produced for them" i.e. somethings never change with this sad sack team.
I mean really how different is being unwilling to pay Dansby and Rolle, then it is unwilling to pay Jamir Miller, Lomas Bown, and Larry Centers in 1998? Now we are being lauded for being smart with money?
Personally I don't refute the theme of the article but it just goes to show you winning a couple years in a row cures all.
Hey, for $30 million, I'd star in it.
Kurt Warner Cardinal winning % without Whisenhunt .200
Kurt Warner Cardinal winning % with Whisenhunt .571
THANK YOU!
I get a little crazy when people try to make the "What will Wiz do with out Warner?"
HELLLLLLOOOOO Wiz MADE Kurt Warner. Never EVER EVER would Warner had his rebirth if not for Wiz and his demanding he protect the ball better and get rid of it faster. Warner owes his eventual HOF induction and about half of last years contract to Wiz. Credit to Warner for doing what it took to get back on track but I will bet my house that if warner is on 95% of any other teams, he washes out as a backup at the end of his career. I don't even think thats an opinion at this point.
No, I'm pretty sure that's the definition of an opinion.
Haha I know. I just think people are willing to go to the lazy answer which is Ken Whishenhunt has been successful because he has had 2 good QB's in Big Ben and Kurt Warner.
Maybe I give Wiz too much credit but IMO he is the reason both those QB's "developed" under him as they did. And the timelines and his hand prints point to that. You won't convince me otherwise.
There's the similar lazy answer on Kurt Warner, which is that he put up good numbers because of the phenomenal group of receivers he had. Twice.
I personally figure that any player performing at an elite level has to be first put into the position to succeed, and second, capable of performing at that level. Every player, every time.
I don't agree with this.
Which way? That Warner's success was just from the receivers, or that it's a similar lazy answer to Whisenhunt's success being from the quarterbacks?
I don't agree with this.
I agree with this. But saying that Wiz needs to prove himself because of having Warner during his tenure is crazy talk. That was Warner's perseverence and overall talent but also Wiz's coaching that lead to our success.
With the latter being more essential as I think Wiz will show he has the "magic touch" with QB's going forward.
Whiz wouldnt accept an extension if he didnt think this team could and will be built into a winner. The ownership must have shown him personally that they are willing to do what he thinks is the best way to do that. Apparently Whiz thinks letting these two walk is ok. Thats enough right there to make me completely cool with it.
