All this arguing about Rosen and Murray only for Jones to be our franchise QB. :p

Last draft, the whole world had Darnold as a lock to the Browns, only for them to take Baker. Will history repeat itself now with Murray and Jones?

Draft day can't arrive soon enough!

Jones is interesting. He rarely makes a bad throw. His numbers arent great, but he played with subpar talent and led his teams to wins.

He didnt throw deep much, but it's likely a function of not trusting his receivers. He reminds me of Peyton Manning a bit in his physical profile and the way he moves in the pocket, though he is a better athlete.

The only question I have about Jones is did he elevate the players around him? If he did then he might be a better prospect than a QB who had oodles of talent around him to make him look good.

RGIII / Cousins? We do need a #2 but I will say this........ Daniel Jones is not worth a pick until Rd 4 IMO

with several teams wanting/needing/looking for developmental QBs you know that a run could be started by just a couple of teams reaching a rd or 2 early.

Redskins
Raiders ?
Jags
Dolphins
Buccaneers
NYG
Denver
Bengals
Titans
Chargers
Saints
Patriots

Kyler Murray
Drew Lock
Dwayne Haskins
Daniel Jones
Will Grier
Jarrett Stidham
Ryan Finley
Clayton Thorson
Tyree Jackson
Kyle Shurmur
Gardner Minshew
Brett Rypien
Jordan Ta`amu
Easton Stick
Nick Fitzgerald

IMO after Murray,Haskins,Jones,Lock you have a drop in talent.Finley,Grier,Jackson
and then Stidham,Thorson,Ta`amu,Rypien,Shurmur with Minshew,Stick,Fitzgerald.
So if some team with several picks feels a QB is just csitting there and is too good to take a chance on missing then why not go for it?

I would rank them:

Tier 1: Murray <-- All-Pro / Possibly Top 5 starter in the league
Tier 2: Empty <-- Quality top 8 to 12 starter level
Tier 3: Haskins <-- Top 10 to 20 level QB - Carson Palmer Esque
Tier 4: Lock & Grier <-- Gabbert & Tannehill level
Tier 5: Jones <-- Total backup

Tier 6: A poo-poo platter of total crap: Everyone else.

1.Speculation,hope,,IMHO nonsense
2.?
3.Okay
4.Not sure on Lock.Grier is somewhat a mystery.I think Jones can and will be a okay starter eventually
The rest are a mix of backups,3rd QBs and a project or two.

David Cutcliffe. I like D J. 1st round riser.

I don't know, after watching highlights and reading up on several draft evaluation sites Jones has some real possibilities. I could see the Cardinals going defense in round 1 and snagging Jones in round 2. It appears he can fit into KKs spread offense with his running ability and he has touch on his passes that Murray doesn't possess. He also is ahead of the curve on making his reads far beyond where Murray is at. I think he could be a real sleeper in this draft.

I think that Keim has been neutered. It is Michael B making the moves. Keim is only around because Michael B couldn’t afford to fire a GM and an entire staff
Imo... Mb and Keim have a close relationship that he values and the reason he didn't get fired was because MB wanted wilks...not Keim. I think, personally, this go round was Keims pick.

I think it's kind of the opposite.

Mike seemed much more into Wilks than Keim. Mike did most of the talking when Wilks was fired, which to me indicates he was the one taking responsibility for that hire.

I think the mistake Mike made gave Keim more time.

This is my thought as well.
