With a knee injury & high ankle sprain I'm not optimistic either. Go back & watch the injury, we are lucky he didn't tear his ACL, very luck!!!

That is what the ESPN report said, unlikely

If he did/does play, how effective could he be? Remember earlier in the year when he couldn't run. Not good.

I seem to remember the Cardinals not having a 100% Anquan Boldin all the way until the Super Bowl last year.

i will never forgive Leinart for this.

The injury he received last year because of Kurt was worse. It's one thing to be disappointed with a first round pick but the Leinart hate is really getting carried away now.

Rewatch the play. That injury was not caused by Kurt. It wasn't high nor did it leave him in that defenseless up in the air position. Nor was the ball lofted like Dreamcast claims. It was simply a freak play and nothing more.

I'm sorry but you're just plain wrong on this. That was a careless throw on Kurt's part. As far as Matt's pass, it was a bad, high throw but he didn't lead Anquan in to a defender, the DB cut him low from behind. Laying blame aside, the injury last year was much more serious.

Nope not at all. But just to get a sense of what you are trying to say let me ask you what about the throw in your mind was careless? Are you saying he shouldn't throw it at all to a wide open WR at the goal line? That he should just go elsewhere with it?

Because that ball was perfectly thrown at chest level. It wasn't a duck by any means. How did Warner "lead Q" as you say? If these routes are all based on timing like many of you choose to profess isnt it logical to assume that that was Q's route and that the timing of that route dictated where the ball would be rather than "leading him" as you say?

Pro football. People get hurt. Applying blame doesn't make the injury go away or the people involved feel better.

Agreed.

Yet, to be hypocritical, I do blame Whiz. Boldin is a key player needed to play against a team like the Packers.

Boldin IS the anti-blitz. He knows how to get open (most importantly), and has the pontetial to break a tackle and make a play.

Without him ? I don't think we are dead in the water, but we are definately down one engine.

We can make do without Calias, DRC is thankfully OK, but Boldin AND Calias out is going to really make things tough for the Cardinals.

I think if Boldin can't go, we will need some unexpected help. I personally think the man to come in and make a play is Beanie Wells.

I do like Tim Hightower, but enough is enough. Put the horse out there and see what he can do. Beanie is due for a big play.

If Whiz would have pulled everyone (impossible) and we lost the game you guys would complain that we pulled an "Indy" and we have lost momentum. If you leave someone in one play too long then people complain too. Just deal with it and look forward to next week.

My only complaint is that you make a decision and stick with it.

You have Breaston, Doucet, and Urban active. Then that is what you put out on the field. Especially when the game is already out of hand. So, if you want to pull your starters then you do just that.

If Fitz, and Boldin are in, then keep the rest in and try to win the game.

I don't think there was any way to avoid keeping Calias on the field. But DRC has had a bad toe so why is he even dressed ? Boldin and Fitzgerald being out there after Warner was pulled was horrible decision as well.

That half & half "plan" bothered me. To sum it up, **** or get of the pot. Playing 70% and having a confusing "plan" or goal usually results in the horror show we saw last week. Guys not tackling or given 100% effort attributed to DRC's injury. Boldin got hurt because our O-Line was going at it 70%, and Leinart sucked.

Eh, but as you said it is what it is. And to be fair Whiz echos the the fact that he was regretful for putting Boldin in the game on that final series.

That being said, I am looking forward to next week. This team has won many a game with starters out. There is no reason the Cardinals can not only win, but win big.

And as a side story, Jermichael Finley is due for a a VERY VERY rude realization that when Adrian Wilson's leash is off, it is a whole different ball game. I do not like Finley one bit.

This is Boldin we are talking about. Why are people surprised that he is injured, might not play, or play with a gimpy leg. What would be surprising is if he was healthy at this point of the year. It isnt any other players fault its just Boldins usual by weekly injury scare.

Anyways Urban said right after the game Boldin wasnt even limping or favoring the leg, so who the heck knows.

Campbell will play and it isnt a big deal. He will play with a cast just like DRC did this year and just like Wells did this year.

I agree, Joe. And if Boldin is out or is limited then Breaston and Doucet will have to step it up. That's just the way it is.

Clayton this morning (tues) said Boldin would probably be a game time decision.

IMO, this staff has kept injury situations closer to the vest this season than any time I can recall... with the possible exception of the Pats. I don't think anyone outside of the orginazation will know the status of any of our three guys (Q, DRC, CC) until kickoff.

Whether they play or not, I think this Sunday's game is going to be one for the ages. GB was hitting hard, and we weren't. I don't see us playing soft this weekend.

Go Cards!!!

That is right, but the news keeps getting worse for this team going into playoffs.

This is WHIS's fault plain and simple. This is the first time I have ever really be pissed at coach.:mulli::bang::bang::bang::bang:

This is a bunch of bologna. We all knew the game was over 1/2 through the 2nd qtr... WHis should've pulled an Indy.

Just wondering what you mean by "Enough is enough"?

I agree that Boldin is pretty important to us against the blitz. But right now the number one threat we have in that situation is TH. Like his running ability or not, this guy has been burning teams in this situation ever since the post season last year. Why in the heck would you through BW into the fire in a game that means so much. Give BW the ball 20 times in the game but he is not our life preserver in the situation of Boldin not being active. Just my humble opinion.

Totally agree that Wells might be the "replacement" we need. Seriously, if you have Fitzgerald, Breaston, and Wells gaining steam, you should be able to compete.

But as was discussed a couple weeks ago, the Cards generally choose the "questionable" designation over "probable," and I agree that they're probably being especially secretive now. Not knowing Boldin's status makes GB's gameplanning more difficult.
