Cards Playoff Game - 1/16th or 1/17th

I know it might still be too early to know, but was wondering if anyone knew which day the Cards will kickoff their post season run to Santa Clara?? I am really hoping they play on the 16th!

I don't think the NFL has released them yet. There is one AFC and NFC game on each day. Personally I'm with you and hope we play on Saturday.

Prediction only: I'm going with Sat night. They usually put the least interesting game on Saturday afternoon (4:00 EST). I'd say that's the AFC 2 seed (Denver or Concinnati) at this point. New England, Carolina and Arizona all have more star power, and are widely considered the 3 top teams right now.
Generally, if an AFC game leads it off, the AFC would than also get the late Sunday game. So the Pats get that game, leaving the early Sunday slot, and the Saturday night slot. We can't take the early Sunday slot(10 am arizona time) so Carolina gets that, and we get sat night.

Yeah, my whole trip over is riding on when this game is. I'm driving over, Wife and daughter are flying in from California on Saturday, have to pick them up at airport, granddaughter is in golf tourney on Sunday....logistical nightmare at the present.

I may just blow them all off and go to the game by myself, they can use Uber from the airport to get to the hotel... Ha! If I did that, I'd be on the couch permanently.

I am looking into flying on Thursday/Friday and staying until Monday/Tuesday. That way I am covered. Waiting for the wife to commit.
