we are just lucky (I speak for media perception), and as soon as we lose one game we will get not get a single player in the Pro-bowl (except for Fitz, which the nation will lament needs to be traded and really is not a Cardinal) because it will confirm what the rest of the nation visualizes us to be regardless of what we are. The only way we can ever possibly remotely throw it back in everyones face is by winning the Superbowl...and even then the Cards will be if, butts and other candies and our nuts to the fans of other teams (and this includes the media who are fans of the other teams, certain special other teams)
