The valley's paper ends it article with yet another snide comment comparing the crowd size with that of a high school team's fan base in Texas. It's standard practice for them - I think the editor won't print without a nasty crack somewhere in the story.
I suggest they find a new shtick. They're reaching farther and farther to get a laugh from the opposing team's fans.
