Funny I wish we had Leinart...Never thought I would say that...But DA is bad..not even remotely decent.

There were missed tackles on the 33 yard McFadden run... this defense needs another player only meeting this week, giving 20 points at home to one of the bad Raiders team

Too be honest it was not hard to see this playing out the way it is with Anderson. He is just continuing his play of the last two years. Nothing surprising really.

D. Anderson 7/17 56 3.3 1 1 45.2
B. Gradkowski 8/17 126 7.4 1 1 67.3

Everyone here said Leinart had to be cut he can only checkdown. Look at the number of completions (almost equal) and yards above. How could Leinart do worse than 7 completions 56 yards 3.3 avg?

I don't think Leinart would do worse, but that's not the issue. Which QB is less likely to destroy the attitude of this club when he gets his butt sent to the bench for an undrafted rookie QB? The answer to that question is DA.

There isn't a single positive that can be gleaned from the 1st 1/2 of this game. We've been awful in every phase of the game. Can you believe we've already given up 20 points to these clowns? And make no mistake about it, Oakland sucks. Anderson has to be the worst QB that we've had play for us. He's up there with Terry Noffsinger and Buddy Humphreys. What in God's name was he thinking with that flip pass? Could he have thrown it any harder and any further behind Hightower? How the hell do you throw the ball behind a guy when he's 6 feet away from you? If they go down 27-17 you mark my words they'll be blown out. God, they're dreaful with him in as QB.

DA is to QB what John Daley is to golf, looks great off the tee but then you see the rest of his game and understand why he never wins.

98% of the QB's in the NFL can make that throw over a DE to Fitz, it takes touch, DA just doesn't have it.

Or Max Hall or John Skelton or some FA we got off the street? Oh right DA has intangibles LMAO

Max Hall should start the 2nd half. I am not sure about him starting against the Chargers or Saints the next 2 weeks, but he should be inserted into this game. D Anderson has been missing the throws that would have put this game away early. I am not excusing the o-line play or the defensive play, but DA has missed opportunities that vet Qb's aren't supposed to miss.

I see the Cardinals asking about Sage and Kolb after this game...I say we trade whatever it takes to get either one of them.

This is why QB is the most important position in the NFL.

Even the defense wouldn't look so bad if it wasn't constantly on the field. 80 plays per game is going to result in points.

Thank you Ed, been saying it since week 1. Warner & that passing game masked many issues with this D & they have yet to be fixed, mainly a bigtime edge rusher!!!

I can just see the meeting now as our QB coach says I can fix him, in fact I seem to remember an interview when we first got DA to that effect, as in I know what's wrong, we'll clear it right up.

If I was the HC, after this debacle I'd pull a Jimmy Johnson on the QB coach and put his stuff in the parking lot.

I'd probably throw DA's stuff out there too, except well it's not like he lied his way onto the team, you really can't blame DA.

Read what was said. I am no DA fan, but he is the best QB on our roster like it or not. You want to tell me MH is better?

I have no idea which QB on our roster is best. But does it really matter? We can't win with DA behind center. On the off chance that Hall is either better right now or capable of becoming better with some seasoning I say start Hall.

98% of all o-linemen could make that shovel pass, too.

I'd pull a Bidwill and change the locks on his office door

I just realized that if we lose this game we will be 1-4 after week 5.
