There D is crazy good, ours is playing well.

Our O from top to bottom is better other than TE IMO.

ST...? Ours has improved.

They are used to success, and are at home...

I think they over look us, and we shock them at home.

We've seen it over and over:

A good D will almost always stop a good O. They have us there, especially since we haven't gotten into a good offensive rhythm yet. However, our above-average D (to date) should keep us in the game against their below-average O.

Special teams, coaching, and the crowd are key.

Billick is an idiot at game mangaement. Whiz has him there.
The crowd is obviously in their favor.

Special teams and field position will likely determine this game. If that is the case, I actually like our chances.

The Ravens this year remind me of the Bears last year. Good Defense and a QB controversy... Hope the outcome is slightly different than MNF last year.

Portland Oregon these days.
If you check the defense stats after 2 games, you'll see the Cards are ahead of the Ravens in every category. (The Cards are further ahead if you check the offensive stats).

Not trying to argue - just stating a fact.

I really am trying not to O.D. on the Kool-Aid. , but I must say what once seemed insurmountable a few weeks back, doesn't anymore.

I did it. I voted yes. I've been thinking this was going to be a loss for a while but I just gulped down a shot of the red stuff and clicked yes.

in fairness -- SF is dreadful offensively, Seattle is good

Balt has played Cincy, who is very good offensively, and the Jets, who are below average

Used to. Used to.

I have a feeling we are all going to have to get familiar with the phrase "used to" when talking about this Cardinals team.

I HOPE that's the case. And, I BELIEVE it will be at some point. But, they gotta show me something more than a last second loss to the Niners. Until then, it's really hard for me to pick them on the road. (Frankly, even securing a winning HOME record would be an improvement over the last five, six years.)

Great, now I have the Smashing Pumpkin's song "Disarmed" stuck in my head. :D

I said we would lose.

I just can't trust us on the road until they prove to me that the trend is behind them.

The Ravens are really good. We are still an emerging unit. It will be a good test for us.

to win:

Leinart has to have a QB rating in the 90s or better

Defense has to keep Ravens under 4 yards per rushing attempt

I think the cards will come in fired up and leinart, boldin, and fitzgearld will have their best game of the year so far it will be a close game though.

Cards 21

Ravens 17

I would argue our O with its new found running game should be outstanding with the way we have passed the ball the last few years. Its been a slow start with Whiz new system but we should only get better & better.

We cannot turnover the ball if want a chance to win. But I think our D can stop the Ravens enough to give us a shot.
