Sorry for the caps in the thread title, but I didn't want to get anyone's hopes up. I almost crapped my pants when I read the lead-in, then was majorly disappointed when I saw the players. Ah well. At least we know they're in the office and working :|

Ahh....the annual Togafau signing. Nice to give the kid his yearly dose of hope before he gets cut again in August.

May as well re-sign these guys. We have to get up to 80 players going into camp. None of them were responsible for our horrible season since none of them played.

This has been the first thing they have done every offseason for as long as I can remember. Next year, two or three days after the end of the season, the entire practice squad will be be signed to contracts for the next season.

Mulli, don't you know? Denny is far better than Whiz in every category of football

:D

*sigh*

Dennis Green's head coaching record: 113-94 .546 winning %. Take away his years here and he's 97-62 .610 winning %. To compare, in his first 4 years as Vikings head coach, he was 38-26 and his QB's were Rich Gannon, Jim McMahon, and a wayyy past his prime Warren Moon. He also had a season where he won 10 games with Jeff George as his QB. So if you want to compare bodies of work, Green is way ahead of Whiz in every aspect of the game. Let's see Whiz coach a few more years before even comparing Whiz to Green. Let's see Whiz average just under 10 wins a season for 10 years first, K?

What is D. greens playoff record? Also You greatly overstate how "over the hill" Warren Moon was. Two season over 4000 yards one of those years with 33 TD's?? hardly washed up.

Playoff record was 4-8. His Vikings teams made the playoffs 8 of his 10 years there however.

That's the entire point. Compare Apples to Apples which is HCing the Cards with a lot of the same players and Whiz blows DG away. K?
