Ill third that, we could be in trouble in ross or big goes down. Maybe wells could step in at T while brown, brown and latui take care of the G spots....did I just say take care of the G spots. LOL. Latui could posibly work in at RT as well, but I shure would like to see a real T to backup at T not a converted G.

I know I'm beating a dead horse, but I like the assembled talent on this line. Of course many of these guys have underachieved and need a swift boot up their backside.

Wells, Step and Lutui can all play a few positions. Hopefully we don't get decimated with injuries like last year. I'm hoping last year we had enough injuries on the line to last 3 seasons. Yikes, what the heck happened??

Injuries always hurt but we are in a much better position to endure them this season if they do happen with 8 seemingly quality linemen in Davis, Ross, Wells, Latui, Brown, Brown, Step and Leckey. We wont have to see names like Cantu, Haayer or Wakefield in the starting lineup.

IMHO as we go into the new season the O line shold be an open book. No one should be regarded as a starter at any position until opeinng day. I would like to see a few more FAs and or unsigned rookies brought into the mix.
The debate re: Big has seemed to subside but I still believe he should return to guard.
As for RT I believe were still in deep trouble. Ross was a DISASTER last year and I doubt he can escalate his perfomance by enough this year to get to mediocre.
That said I see us struggling to get into the top half of running teams this year unless some drastic changes happen,

I'll give you this, our o line, for two years has been a revolving door. However, in all defense of the guys wh filled in...I'll just use Wakefield as the reference point. Just made the switch from D to O. Was out the previous year to injury. Was hungry as hell to play and prove he belonged. And, if my memeory strikes me correctly, didn't play too bad, Actually admirably. As did the other" just thrown in there" backups. It was the "starters" that made most of the bone head mistakes. So don't be suprised 1) if this O line is much better at one and two depth and don't be suprised if the "Wakefields" make the team and play well when called upon.
