A team that trades for Boldin is going to have to give up picks/players and then pay him $8-$10 million-a-season. In this economy teams just aren't willing to do that, other than guys like Jerry Jones or Danny Snyder.

That is the same reason that Julius Peppers won't be traded. I think teams would give up picks or pay the player big money, but not both.

Can someone change the title and remove the ridiculous "Posted 10 minutes ago" part...

LOL, no doubt, I have subconsciously clicked this link 40 times in the last 24 hours, thinking it had some fresh news.

Maybe Q will have a little less frustration because it was obvious the cardinals tried very hard to move him, and couldn't get it done. With one of the main reasons being teams having a hangup about paying him 9 to 10 million. Maybe he won't feel so unappreciated now taking 7 million.

Obviously that's wishful thinking.

Just sitting here thinking about a guy who is insulted to only be making $5 million dollars a year has to make one wonder about priorities in the world. I just came from the grocery store and my bag boy recently graduated from college. We live in a strange world. Boldin should live with his contract and be happy he is as good as he is. In two years he can do what he wants. What is wrong with living with a contract you signed? That bag boy I talked to today will likely still be bagging groceries wondering why is some guy complaining when he is making 5 mil a year.

I couldn't agree more.
It kind of puts things into perspective.

:lmao:

I find it sooo funny that people aroudn here like to try and compare a grocery store bagger to an all start NFL player. Much less a 2nd tier NFL player. Astoundingly funny.
