Proves that the 4th pre-season game usually isn't enough to earn a player a roster spot. I think this decision may have come down to whether we want to keep Hayes or not and at the end of the day the coaches decided Hayes in a few weeks with poor depth is better than having to cut someone else now and then cut Beisel later when Hayes comes back.
