I totally agree Centers should be in. He was the Cardinals for many years. I'll never forget him hurdling people and single handedly winning some games.
Dont care about stats or length of time. It's about what that player meant to the team in my mind.
I would put Jake Plummer in too. Jake was frustrating and his career stats are nothing special but Jake raised the profile of the Cardinals in this state 10 fold and took us to the playoffs and beat the freaking Cowboys! IN TEXAS!!!
That whole 98 team should get some kind of love in the stadium because without them, we dont have a stadium, we dont have the memories we all love over the years and in all honesty, the Cardinals probably aren't even here.
Sorry for rambling, but I agree NJ, there are too many ancient guys, not saying they aren't deserving, but 99% of the stadium doesn't know who Larry Wilson and some of those other guys are. Gotta have memories up that people can connect to. People cant connect to Ernie Nevers, Conzelman, Driscoll,,, I mean why dont we raise a 1947 championship banner up while we're at it? (sarcasm) I love honoring those guys, but we need more modern era people in there and there are some good ones that are worthy. Good post NJ
