Not the end of the world.

1. We can only get better, more time to gel and get our timing right.
2. Nothing like an ass beating to get straight and in order. When I was little, if I messed upped I would get a good beating and remember not to mess up again.
3. The Giants got an even bigger beating than we did.
4. Rams lost.
5. We could always trade one of our future stars for a 1st round draft pick. The Browns won.

I didn't think we would win, but I didn't think we would look crappy on both sides of the ball. NO was not a juggernaut in their first two games.

On a positive note...

At least we didn't lose 31-7 to the Cowgirls. The Rams aren't fortunate enough to say the same..

Wouldn't call it a shock, but most people I saw had the Pack. So it is an upset.

Vegas odds had the pack at -2.5 so technically an upset.

But I dont think a team that MANY have picked to be an AFC rep for the Super Bowl winning at home is much of an upset.

I wanted us to do last year what the Browns are doing this year. I don't care what any of you say, but our guys just aren't that good and it isn't just the OL. I wanted us to gut this team and start over by accumulating as many draft picks as we could and let our new coach teach them how to play. I don't see our current guys getting any better, except for a solid start to a great D.

I wanted us to trade Fitz before he got older and damaged, along with simply going down our roster and moving out, for whatever draft choice we might could get, anyone who isn't young, excited, energetic, and who we want to build around. Our current guys have been losing to long now and it is a part of their make up now, just like our old Cards were.

I would rather just go 1-15, and build a new team through the draft. We can't win with these team no matter who the coach is. He needs to build this team anew with HIS guys he gets through the draft. It will take more than 7 draft picks per year. We need to trade our older best players and stock pile picks.

No, but we lost 31-7 to the Saints. The Rams can't say that either.
Though it sucks to lose and especially 31-7 it's still feels a little better against NO than Dallas. Not to mention the Rams were never really in the Dallas game, but at least our defense kept this game close until the 4th quarter. Just looking for a silver lining so I can make it through the next week and hopefully a bounce-back win against the Bucs.

Well they did gut the team. 12 of the 22 starters last week were new players.
