Whiz "Big ben'd" Max Hall. Big Ben said Whiz made football less fun. Seems he took all the fun out of it for Hall. Look at his eyes and demenor since the first play. Guy is confused, unsure totally opposite of the guy that played two weeks ago.

We need an OC.

Big bens version of fun has nothing to do with football.

Hall isn't what he was two weeks ago because this is who he really is..an UDFA rookie who isn't very good.

To everyone asking for DA to come in: would you rather we be down 21-0 at the half? He would have at least 2 or 3 more INTs then Hall. DA sucks, Hall sucks, we have no QB.

what has to learn skelton to be ready to play...i think is better not learning the sistem if you have to play like anderson or hall

IN the preseason they said Skelton knew about 20 plays. At that point Hall had most of the offense from what they told us. I doubt Skelton is even close to knowing the whole offense so then you really limit what you can call and it's too easy to defend.

They'd be throwing Skelton to the wolves. If Hall continues to look bad, they should go to DA and hope he learned something not playing.

I'm talking this game, not the season.

Wow. I can't believe we're watching the same football game. Max Hall wasn't good against the Saints, either. It's just that the defense scored 21 points.

Max Hall isn't seeing what is going on. The one bad pass play that wasn't on him was Keith forgetting that he's a starting offensive lineman in the NFL. Max Hall was throwing to no one on that pick and he's not even moving his eyes downfield anymore.

You don't go 4-15 for 36 yards (just over 2 YPA?!) because football's not fun. You do it because you're just not good enough to be a starting quarterback in the NFL.

This team is exactly what everyone says they are......a pretender. Whis took a top 5 offense and nuetered it in one boneheaded chemistry experiment. We win the division easy with Leinart under center. These two guys are pathetic.

I'd pull Max he's clearly not settled down. I realize Komar wasn't as open as they made him look you could see the DB was there behind him, but he was open as he went through that zone with his hand up, Hall has to see him and throw it there instead of over the middle into coverage.

He's very inaccurate today and he's not making the right reads.

I'm guessing you'd put DA in and not Skelton.

We are down 10 because of Roberts right now. Not Hall.

We would either be down 3, tied, or up 4 right now if not for the stupidest rookie mistake of the season.

YEs. I don't like DA either I mean this week only, but DA likely won't be as confused today as Max is. And I suspect DA can throw a wet ball better than Max has today.

To be fair if you take away 2 drops by Fitz and a fumble by Hightower and Roberts and we're still in the game. But Max has been awful.

Yes but Max has got to play better, you can't win with your QB playing that poorly.

Thoughts at the half: Offense: M. Hall does not look like an NFL QB. Inaccurate on almost every throw. No arm, floating balls, under-throwing, the works.
Running game and o-line look better but as usual Hightower kills it with the FUMBLE! (Again!)...UNACCEPTABLE!
Roberts fumble looked like a Pop Warner mistake...UNACCEPTABLE!
Defense: Doing GREAT! good coverage, nice pressure, good play calls. Poor guys are going to weaken eventually though with no Offense.

Even you're calling for him to be benched. Right now even you think that he's not a starting-caliber QB in the NFL. Colt McCoy looked pretty good today against the same defense in more unfriendly surroundings, huh? With a worse WR corps "helping" him out? And a worse running game?

Eventually you have to produce something, right?

And Max Hall just fumbled again. How long do you want the Cards to put us through this?

For what it's worth, I don't blame Max Hall for being bad. I blame Ken Whisenhunt for thinking that Max Hall was good and then forcing us all to watch him be bad.

What's Max's career QB rating right now? Is it under 50 yet?
