1st Quarter:
Cardinals 3, Seahawks 0
* Shawn Alexander, who is sporting a soft cast on his left wrist, has had trouble breaking through the Cardinals’ O-line through two Seahawks’ series. Alexander has rushed for only three yards on three carries, which shouldn’t be too surprising to Cardinals fans. The Cardinals are notorious for holding NFC West opponents to double-digit figures. In fact, the Cardinals haven’t allowed an NFC West rusher to break 100 yards against them in nine games - a stretch that goes back to 2005. Unfortunately for the Cardinals, the last NFC West running back to get into 100 + yards was Alexander - on Nov.5, 2005.
