It's really interesting that Cards sent QB coach Byron Leftwitch to Mitch Tribusky's workout and Tom Moore to Nathan Peterman's workout. Cards definitely doing their due diligence in scouting the QB's in this draft.

To deflate the proverbial balloon slghtly:

If I wanted to gin up a trade with a team terrified that it would miss out on a top QB, I'd make a big show of sending my coaches to every QB's Pro Day and maybe set up a public workout or 2; & then make a public deal about it.

Are the Cards serious about drafting any of these guys? Or are they trying to extort an extra pick or so? Don't have a clue. That's what makes the draft so fun.

whos going to trade up to #13 for a QB?

Everybody ahead of us (1-12) needs a QB. 14-32 dont need QBs. They all made the playoffs, or just missed the playoffs.

The Cards at #13 are really the last team who has serious interest in a 1st round QB

How things are evolving I do my prediction
I see mahomes the first qb drafted
San Francisco 2nd overall pick

Watson may drop to us, but the browns has good chance to select him with the twelve pick

Trubusky could be the texans first round pick

Kizer round 2 to the Bears

The Cards have always been very transparent in what they do in the draft. I can't remember the last time they did any kind of smoke screen.

Jeff : what that gins up is a trade ahead of the Cards, not with the Cards.

Redskins, Texans, and Chiefs could easily draft a QB in round 1. Steelers could be a another if they think Big Ben is nearing retirement.

Glad they're doing their due diligence on all of them. Unless they view a prospect as a can't miss I think the depth of this draft defensively is where their focus should be in round one. Davis, Williams and Howard are intriguing.

Hmmm, learn something everyday....

That sentence could have only been more perplexing to me... if it read "QB Coach: Ryan Leaf" or perhaps "QB Coach: JaMarcus Russell"

If I believe I can develop QBs...Patrick Mahomes has the highest ceiling of any in this class. But, you are drafting the exception to the rule.
