Mougey started at QB. He didn't sign with ASU because Koetter wanted him to play safety. He's a decent athlete with good flexibility. Good chain mover.

I know absolutely nothing about Mougey, but if you are serious about your above comment, then I would think this is a great signing, because we now have depth there with Doucett and Mougey being RAC guys. I also think that Onrea Jones will be a factor this year, and that too bodes well for our WR depth. Now, if we can draft a (stretch the f ield guy), we are well on our way to shoring up the loss of Q.

Down the field guy?????? What does that have to do with losing Q? Breaston is our down the field guy and Fitz with the down the field jump balls. We are not getting a speedster.

The loss of Q hurt us in many ways. Therefore in my opinion we have to address several things to cover his loss to this team. One of the ways to help would be to bring in depth to back up Doucett in the slot and over the middle, (Moughey). Yet another way to help replace loss at the receiving position, would be to add another speed receiver (like Breaston) as depth to stretch the field. How is that not feasible?
