Not surprised. We cannot attempt to sneak Ingram onto the PS. Someone will definitely snatch him up

If we do move on from Williams, I don't believe it is much of a loss. It says more about Williams than our RB room IMO tho. Like, if you can't make it in KC, probably aren't going to make it many places.

Hell, ath this rate you could probably trade Isabella for Josh Jacobs if you wanted a RB.

I called this during the game thread that it looked like he might get cut.

He's just not enough better than the younger guys to justify not keeping the younger guys.

There’s just nothing special about him at all.

Williams is a plodder, nothing more. If the Chiefs thought Williams had less to offer than Ronald Jones and Jerick McKinnon and decided to let him go then cutting him is a no brainer over the youngsters.

Both those guys are good, though.

McKinnon is a journeyman and nothing special. Even in 2021 he ran behind Williams in KC. Jones has had a couple of pretty good seasons and might be a bit better than Williams but again you could probably name two dozens other RBs who are in the same class as Jones.
