If this is Whites replacement, then the only thing I can gather is in his 7 starts last year the liked what they saw?

Seems like a special teamer/solid reserve that doesn't preclude us from bringing back Kyzir or addressing it in the draft.

Seeing that Dre Greenlaw is gone... so Kyzir is more or less the best we can expect, IMO.

Figure each new FA should have their own thread.
Heart & hustle player. Dynamic on special teams and adequate as an LB backup. Dominant player at Ap State with a great motor. The kind of hard worker who’s an asset in the locker room and on the practice field. Always gives his best.

BAsed on post #4 sounds like he is an OLB when he plays so prob not a white replacement.

He was also a Team Captain for the Bengals last season.

If this is who they got to replace White, it’s the same old story… two steps forward, one step back. It‘s so rare that we just see the team build on top of what they already have. There’s always another leak to plug that was already previously covered.

I hope and definately assume not.

This is a replacement of Barnes at 3rd ILB and Gardeck at ST IMO

The truth is that we have no idea what the Cardinals plan to do with Akeem Davis-Gaither. Mack Wilson Sr. was a special teams guy and backup LB when the Cardinals plucked off free agency from the Patriots. The Cardinals saw something in his limited plays from scrimmage and made him a starter. It seems like their paying Davis-Gaither a little much to be strictly a backup and special teams guy.

That's what I think as well. They are hoping they got something here

I’m very Skeptical of this.

But they have pulled this off two seasons in a row with Froholdt and Mack.

If this is the plan, the good news is that ILB is arguably the easiest position to find a adequate starter. But I hope it’s not

We won't really know until the press conference.
