Cards agree to terms with eagles LB Stewart bradley.

If we couldn't get Tulloch (who knows if we even made the call, which we should have), then I think he was one of (if not the) best alternative out there.
I agree, gmabel. Again, here is a player heading into his prime. He's overcome an ACL injury, as O'Brien Schofield has---and as they get stronger, both these players could make our defense stronger and tougher.
I think Bradley will play inside next to Washington and they could make an excellent tandem.
Interesting signing. if healthy he is a very nice depth signing for both ilb spots.
I guess this guy is the "big addition" to our defense and we might as well hope for the best. "If healthy" is a terrible phrase to have to keep using, but hopefully he can make a difference. If healthy.
Not trying to down play the fact the guy does have some recent injuries, but honestly, isn't that something you can say about everyone in the league at this point? I predict Larry Fitzgerald will have a great year if he stays healthy!
True! Now this is a "thumper", Mitch.
True!
I really like his playing style. Just a few more pieces to go and the Cards are set.
Hopefully, he's the first of multiple linebacker signings, because I doubt we can count on him for a full season.
It's true, but this guy has demonstrated that he can't stay healthy so I think it's a fair point. Call me a dick for pointing it out all you want, but the Cardinals have the cap space for any player in free agency and they chose to target a guy who missed all of 2009 and 4 games in 2010 (when he also lost his starting job).
I think the injuries are a fair point, and if we see the contract and he is overpaid and getting way too much gauranteed money I might change my tune. But if he clears his physical and appears to be 100% healthy right now (the concussions are probably the most difficult part of that equation), and we are getting him at a reasonable price, then it's a good signing if someone like Tulloch did not fit into our plans financially. Who else was really out there?
Please don't be the next Al Johnson :crossesfingers:

See, that's the problem. I'll bet you a buck he isn't. This will be it. If we signed some reliable, proven performers (or already had them on the roster) Bradley would be a great risk/reward play. But our defense was terrible last year - if this is all we're getting, did we improve it?
Do you remember me promoting the signing of Roth around here since as early as January or are we just totally on the same page here?Hey Sean---
ADD MATT ROTH AND THESE CARDINALS SOAR!!!
SOLB Roth
SILB Bradley
